My favorite Adam Phillips video

This is the first time in seven years that I'm not returning to teaching. Be that as it may, I found myself thinking about things that I would typically do at the start of a semester.

One of the things that came to mind was how I would show the video below at the start of a course I would teach almost every semester (SWK-6521 Advanced Clinical Social Work from a psychodynamic perspective). I like this video and used it as an introduction to the content because it takes some of the insights of psychoanalysis and states them in a way that is generally understandable.

If you're ever looking for a good video to show someone who is curious about psychoanalysis but does not know too much about it, I would recommend this one.
